The ‘World Physiotherapy Day’ was observed every year to create awareness in the community. This year the theme of World physiotherapy is Arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. Department of physiotherapy have organised two days program to observe world physiotherapy day on 7th September & 8th September, 2023.
DAY 1-
On 7th September a free health camp was organized for all the teachers and students at Hajo S.B.S.K.R HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL by the physiotherapy students & faculty. Regular BP, blood sugar & physical health assessment was done by physiotherapy students and home exercise program has been taught to each individual that have participated in the camp.
DAY 2-
On 8th September the World Physiotherapy Day was observed at NEPNI campus. First the program was started with welcome speech by student. The lamp lighting ceremony was done by Director Admin Sir, Nursing principle Abharani Chamuah, Vice principle Anamika Bhuyan, Academic Co-ordinator Bikash Thakuria, HOD Trishna Kakati, Department of physiotherapy, HOD Amit Sarma, department of Radiography and advanced imaging. After that the program was continued with the speech by Director Sir, Principal ma’am, vice principal followed by a speech on importance of physiotherapy. The physiotherapy students also gave a presentation on ERGONOMICS for teacher and students. Then also a small cultural event was organized for the students. The two days program was successfully ended.
