NEPNI management is coming up with some schemes beneficial to students in various ways. The basic aim of the schemes is to help the students financially, for those who are meritorious and relatively poor. The following are the schemes:
1. Merit Scholarship
a. Under this scheme, a student having scored 80 % or above in the qualifying examination is eligible to apply for this scholarship within one month of admission and after completion of payment of First Year Dues.
b. Five students from each course will be given this scholarship in order of merit.
c. The scholarship will be deposited into the respective account of the student within six months from the date of admission.
d. The scholarship is renewable for the second year and so on, provided he/she gets 80 % or more in the annual examination and subject to clearance of all dues of the previous year
e. An application in standard form has to be submitted within one month of admission with all required enclosures like Fee Payment Receipt, Mark sheet of the qualifying exam
2. Scholarship for poor students
a. Students belonging to the poor category, having a BPL Card and scoring 60% or above, can apply for this scholarship.
b. Maximum number of students to be selected will be five for each course. If there are more than five students found eligible, then selection will be done on the basis of merit.
c. Students applying for this scholarship have to clear all dues for the year. The scholarship will be deposited in the account of the student
d. It is renewable in the second year if he/she gets 70% or above in the annual examination.
3. Concession of fees
Management has kept a provision to give a concession to students who pay the annual tuition and Statutory fees (including hostel fees) fully at the time of admission. The amount of such concession will be a maximum of 10% of the annual fee.
