NEPNI is equipped with adequate infrastructure as mentioned hereunder to provide education in effective and conducive manner .
Administrative Block:
This block in the ground floor of the building comprises of rooms for Chairman, Executive President, Director, Admin, Academic Co-ordinator, AdministrativeOfficer, Assistants , receiption , library along with toilet and washroom facilities.
Teaching Block
There are sufficient state of art classrooms, demonstration/ practical rooms, Computer rooms, Faculty rooms computer and audio-visual rooms. Each room is well furnished. At NEPNI, we have well ventilated and furnished spacious Lecture Halls and classrooms with necessary audio-visuals aids for better delivery of teaching by faculties. The Digital classroom is one of the best infrastructure of the institute.
Laboratories:
As per norms of Indian Nursing Council, the institute has Good laboratory facilities for the students laboratory facilities such as -
Nursing Foundation Laboratory: This has been equipped with all the facilities for
practicing the basic procedures of Nursing Foundation and Medical Surgical Nursing. Patient’s bed, Manikin, models along with other necessary equipments and articles are available for student’s practice.practicing the basic procedures of Nursing Foundation and Medical Surgical Nursing. Community Health Laboratory: This laboratory is constructed for the purpose of learning the basic skills required for Community set-up. Community bags, instruments and articles, models, sample of charts and posters for health teaching etc are available to serve the purpose.
OBG and Pediatric Laboratory: All the procedures related to maternal and child health are to be taught in this Laboratory. Provision of Labour Table, Resuscitation equipments, Models and other obstetrical and Gynaecological instruments, pediatric instruments like infantometer, growth assessment charts are available for the students for practicing the basic procedures.
- Pre-Clinical Science Laboratory: This will be used to instruct the students about Anatomy and Physiology, other biological topics with the specimen and Models for better understanding.
- Nutrition Laboratory: The nutrition lab is furnished and equipped with work tables, cooking stoves. Gas connections, wash basins with running water supply, cutlery, trays, plates, deictic scales, cooking utensils racks, pressure cooker and storage room for all provisional items.
- Anatomy Laboratory: All the bones, skeleton models and subject related charts are provided worktables and seating chairs are well furnished and equipped.
- Physiotherapy Laboratory: Well equipped physiotherapy lab offer wide range of services for Shoulder, Hand, Knee and Spine, Obesity and Fitness in addition to Incontinence Exercise guidelines and Therapy. Physiotherapy Lab provides the necessary training to meet the total range of patient care responsibilities involved in preventing disabilities and promoting restoration of function to the physically impaired, including Musculoskeletal, Neuromuscular disorders that interfere with the physical function. It includes prescription of Exercise Therapy with the aid of continuous Passive movement device, Electronic Cervical and Lumbar Traction Unit, Moist Heat Therapy and Paraffin Wax Bath, Manual Therapy, Electrotherapy treatment.
- Radiography laboratory: Our radiography lab features one fully energized x-ray suite consisting of an x-ray table, an x-ray tube, a fluoroscopic unit, upright x-ray imaging stand and associated control panel. Students also have various accessories to assist them in learning the proper methods of producing quality radiographs.
- Medical Laboratory: Clinical pathology tests are carried out on clinical specimens to obtain information about the health of a patient to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Computer Laboratory:It is Lab for skill development in Soft Skill, having 20 computers in a room of 1200 sqft, equipped with Internet
Library :
A well-furnished library with an area of approximately 2400 sqft for the students with reference and lending services. It is equipped with sufficient course books along journals journals and magazines including newspaperssIt has a seating capacity of 80 students at atime. The Library is automated for its smooth functioning and tracking of receipt and districbution.
Audio Visual Room:
In order to make the teaching-learning process more attractive, there are audio-visual rooms. Advance training aids like chalkboards, overhead projector, slide, film projectors, modes, specimen, charts posters, Photostat machine, and computers are provided.
Conference Hall/Auditorium:
There will be the provision of a well-equipped digital Conference Hall/Auditorium with a seating capacity for 2000 people with all the modern amenities that will serve the purpose of conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops and others functions. At times, it will serve the purpose for the Government meetings as and when required.
Hostel:
Hostel facility is available for both girl and boy students for the whole period of training . Students are accommodated in spacious, well-ventilated rooms provided with all the necessary comforts. However, a student may leave the hostel for a short period for attending a function at their parent’s home and on account of important festivals at home. A full time warden is appointed to look after the general cleanliness of the hostel and to see that the students adhere to the rules and regulations. Each room in the hostel will accommodate four students to offer them an excellent opportunity for undisturbed study. The students will be provided one bed with mattress, bed sheets, pillow with cover, reading table and a locker by the authority. The authority will supply meals- breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner in a spacious dining hall. There is 24 hours electricity and water supply for the hostellers. All students shall be a resident in the Hostel and shall be under the direct care and supervision of the in-charge of the Hostel or the Warden. Moreover, lady security personals are deployed inside the hostel premises for security purposes. Also, the hostel premises are under CCTV Surveillance, and footages are checked daily. Visitors can meet the students on Sundays with due approval of the Hostel Warden. In-case of emergency visitor are allowed during office hours.
Transport:
The school is having its own transport facilities to carry the students from hostel to the institutes and to different hospitals for clinical and practical demonstrations. Students are also provided with transportation for study Tours, Health camps, Workshops, etc. Weekly transport facility will be provided to the students for the purpose of marketing, amusement, and refreshment during holidays.
Play Ground:
There is provision of a play-ground at the institute campus itself so as to enable the students to play various out-door and in-door games.
Free Wi-Fi Campus:
Free Wi-Fi facility will be provided to the permanent campus with fully digital class rooms.
