REPORT ON 76TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

The 76th Independence Day of India has been celebrated with great pride and dignity on 15th August, 2022 by the staff and students of NEPNI GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS at the permanent campus, Alikash, Hajo road. This day is marked to celebrate the freedom of India from the British rule and to honor the mighty sacrifices our courageous leader and fighters put forward for our country.
The event started with the flag hoisting ceremony by our Cheif Guest Mr. Nipon Goswami, a veteran Actor which was followed by the National Anthem and March past by the students of NEPNI. On this auspicious occasion, the Management of NEPNI felicitated Guests of Honor Samiksha Jain Bihani, IPS & Rohit Bihani, Faculty member, SPM IAS Academic in appreciation for their talent and dedicated achievement towards the service of the nation. Various distinguished Guests like Dr. Dinesh Baishya, Former Principal, B. Barooah College, Farman Ali, Lecturer, Cotton University etc. were present at the programme. Various cultural programmes were also being performed by the students of NEPNI. Addressing the occasion, Executive President Mr.Babul Ali expressed his salute towards the Indian Freedom Fighters who fought for Indian Independence and remembered their sacrifices. Delivering his valuable speech, our Chief Guest Mr. Nipon Goswami expressed his sincere gratitude and thanks to be invited and wished NEPNI a bright future ahead. Similarly, trustee member Mrs. Khursida Begum hoisted the National flag at our Institute campus at Hatigaon in the presence of Invited Guest Mrs. Ashima Bordoloi, Ex-Councelor, Guwahati Municipal Corporation, staff and students of NEPNI School of Nursing. Delivering her speech on the occasion, Mrs. Khursida Begum motivated all the students and insisted them to become Independent and promote patriotism in their hearts. The occasion ended with some colourful performances by the students of NEPNI and vote of thanks by Mrs. Bina Borah, Principal, NEPNI School of Nursing- 'Freedom is in our minds and faith is in our hearts.
