CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION 2022
Venue: Rakshasini Char Girls Primary School, Hajo
Date: 14.11.2022
Every year, Children’s Day is celebrated all across India on November 14. This day was chosen to celebrate as Children’s Day after the death of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, adorably referred to as Chacha Nehru. Jawaharlal Nehru celebrated his birthday on November 14. Nehru was a great advocate for children’s right and for an all-inclusive education system where knowledge is accessible to all. He believed that children are the future of the country and the foundation of a society, and hence, everyone’s well-bring should be taken care of.
Like every year, this year also NEPNI Group of Institutions celebrated this big day by paying a visit to one of the Primary School in Hajo named as RAKSHASINI CHAR GIRLS PRIMARY SCHOOL. Along with the Principal and teachers, there were 101 numbers of students in total. We visited the School with our Trustee Mrs. Khursida Begum, Principal (College of Nursing) Mrs. Punam Debbarma, Lecturer Ms. Ezabel Lyngdoh and HR Manager Mr. Nagen Rajak along with 10 number of GNM 2nd year students. Mrs. Khursida Begum had a long conversation with the students and explained them about the importance of Children’s Day. Some of them performed singing, dancing, poem recitation etc. Gifts were being distributed among the students which contained some sweets and stationery items. We all had a great time together.
