The World Alzheimer's Day is observed on 21st September each year to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease and related forms of dementia. This year the theme of World Alzheimer's Day is "Never too early, never to late". It was celebrated since 1994. On the behalf of World Alzheimer's Day, students of B.sc Nursing 3rd year have organised a short program on 21sth September from 3:00pm to 4:00 pm to show support for individuals and families affected by these conditions. They have organised one role play based on the theme to educate, support and advocate for those affected by these conditions, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis, research and caregiving. By fostering understanding and empathy, this day promotes a more dementia - inclusive society and encourages efforts to find a cure for this challenging disease.
First the program was started with a welcome speech by student. In this program, Faculties of Nepni College of Nursing were present. At the end Mrs. Farmin Rahman, Lecturer of Psychiatric Nursing has given one speech to prevent Alzheimer's disease in many different ways. Overall, the program was ended successfully.
