Medical Laboratory Technology , also known as Clinical laboratory science is an allied health profession which is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and research dieses through the use of clinical laboratory tests. A Medical Laboratory Technologist do these tests by analyzing specimen collected from patient and they play an important role in collecting the information needed, sampling, testing, reporting and documentation of these investigations. Through these tests Medical Laboratory Technologist can determine the presence or absence of diseases and provide data needed to prescribe medication or evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.
B.SC. IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY (BMLT)-3 year course
Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 having English as a subject in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as mandatory subjects with minimum of 50% marks from recognized Board/Council.
- Selection criteria for admission shall be normally on merit basis
DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY(DMLT)-2 year course
