Report on- “12th LAMP LIGHTING & OATH TAKING  CEREMONY 2019”

Date: 2nd  February, 2019

Venue: Srimanta Sankaradeva International Auditorium, Panjabari, Guwahati.

 

 

On 2nd  February , 2019 (Saturday) NEPNI School of Nursing, a Unit of  NEPNI Trust (a Public Charitable Trust), Hatigaon, Guwahati-781038, has organized "12th  Lamp Lighting & Oath taking  Ceremony" of its 12th Batch of GNM Nursing 1st year students and 4th   batch of ANM Nursing 1st year students to take oath as a mark of dedication towards the Nursing profession.

The Ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Chikimiki Talukdar, Chairperson , Assam State Commission for Women, Guwahati. Smt. Maini Mahanta, Editor, Nandini Women’s Magazine attended the function as the Guest of Honor along with several other distinguished guests. The program  was graced by felicitation to great personalities  from different fields namely, Padmashree Dr.Ilias Ali,Senior Surgeon, Global Hospital, Guwahati, Mr. Samar Hazarika, brother of Bharat Ratna recipient Lt Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. NEPNI TRUST has extended helping hands by offering cash prize of Rs. 5000 each to Mr. KUSHAL LAHON (former Journalist Frontier Tv), who is bedridden after an accident and receiving his treatment at Guwahati and to GAUTAM HAZARIKA ( former journalist DY365) who took retirement  from work due to physical illness.

The functional President was Dr. Syed Burhan-Uddin Hon’ble Chairman of  NEPNI TRUST and Executive President Mr. Babul Ali ( A Renowned Social worker and  Philanthropist). Both have equally contributed for the over-whelming success of the Event including NEPNI Staff. The Ceremony was concluded with graceful and colorful cultural programmes performed by the students of NEPNI School of Nursing.
