NEPNI School of Nursing, a unit of NEPNI Trust, Hatigaon, Guwahati-38 has organized its “13th Lamp Lighting & Oath taking Ceremony 2020” for the 1st year GNM & ANM students. This ceremony is the most auspicious event in every newly admitted nurse students as they take oath as a mark of education towards the nursing profession. Prof. (Dr.) Dipika Deka, Vice-Chancellor of Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, Assam has graced the event as the Chief Guest. Dr. Mridula Saikia Khanikar, Vice-Chancellor, Indira Gandhi Technical & Medical Science University, Zero, Arunachal Pradesh was present as the Special Guest. Mrs. Mrinalini Devi, Vice-President of Assam Sahitya Sabha, Dr. Turalata Kakati Majhi, Ex-Registrar, Assam Nursing Council, Assam were the Guest of Honour. In the same event, NEPNI Trust felicitated with the “NEPNI Excellency Award 2020” to Dr. Madhab Ch. Rajbangshi Sir, Additional Superintendent, MMCH, an annexe Hospital of GMCH in appreciation for his dedicated service in the Healthcare sector.

The Ceremony was a successful one with many colourful cultural programme performed by the students of NEPNI.

Dr. Syed Burhanuddin, Chairman, NEPNI School of Nursing, Mr. Babul Ali, Executive President, NEPNI School of Nursing along with the entire staff contributed immensely for the over-whelming success of the event.
