REPORT ON ASIAN CONFLUENCE RIVER CONCLAVE 2022
On May 28-29, 2022 Natural Allies in Development and Interdependence (NADI), Asian Confluence River Conclave 2022 was organised by Bangladesh Foundation for Regional Studies as country partner, IUCN and Gauhati University as the Knowledge Partners, supported by Meghalaya Basin Development Authority, North Eastern Council, Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) and The Asia Foundation.
This program was chaired by dignitaries like H.E. Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen MP, Foreign Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Govt. Of Bangladesh, H.E. Dr. Shamsul Alam, State Minister, Ministry of Planning, Govt. Of Bangladesh, Mr. ASM Shamsul Arefin, Chairman, Bangladesh Foundation for Regional Studies, and many more dignitaries from not only Bangladesh but from also different South East Asian countries. The executive president of NEPNI GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, Mr. Babul Ali also was invited for the conclave and he attended the meeting. Students from NEPNI Group of institutions have volunteers for the program, and received enormous appreciation and motivation from the foreign delegates for their professionalism and hospitality. The meeting and conferences were held at Radisson Blu and all the conferences ended with great bonding between the two countries followed by exchange of gifts. We wish to have stronger bonding between the countries in terms of education, finance, environment etc.
