On 1st October,2015 NEPNI School of Nursing (A Unit of NEPNI Trust) undertook a cleanliness drive with a spate of activities from 29th September till 3rd October,2015.The motto of the programme was to create awareness of cleanliness among the general public in accordance to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launced by our Prime Minister on 2nd October,2014.The school chalked out a plan to organise a wide range of cleanliness activities covering different areas of Kamrup (M).

The cleanliness drive started in the surrounding of Mohendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (29th Sept,2015),District Hospital Sonapur (30th September,2015),Hatigaon Main Road from Hatigaon Chariali to Rajdhani Masjid (1st Oct,2015),Hostel surrounding of Lakhmi Nagar & Anupam Nagar (2nd Oct,2015) and Community Health Centre Khetri (3rd October,2015) by the students with the supervision of teachers of NEPNI School of Nursing with banners and posters with messages.

On the 3rd day,the programme was enlightened by the Mayor of Guwahati Municipal Corporation,Mr.Abir Patra.The NEPNI School of Nursing took the pledge to take such type of cleanliness drive in near future and works towards the upliftment of the society.
