The NEPNI Group of Institutions, in proud collaboration with the Telemedicine Society of India, successfully hosted the Mid-Term Conference 2025, a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to transforming the future of healthcare delivery in India—starting from the grassroots.
Under the powerful theme of "Digital Health for All", the event shed light on how telemedicine is reshaping healthcare accessibility, especially in underserved and rural communities.
On behalf of the President, NEPNI Group of Institutions, Mrs. Rashida Begum, the Administrative Officer, NEPNI Group of Institutions, delivered the keynote welcome address. In her speech she expressed her sincere gratitude to the organizer, Telemedicine Society of India, where eminent delegates from India and abroad came together virtually as well as physically to explore the transformative power of Telemedicine in reshaping the landscape of healthcare- especially for our remote and underserved communities. We hope and believe in the potential of technology to bridge gaps in healthcare access, and today’s conference stands as a testament to that vision.
We were highly honoured to have with us through virtual mode, our Chief Guest DR. ASHOK PURANIK, Executive Director, AIIMS Guwahati, whose encouraging words and enriching keynote address on Telemedicine inspired the audience.
The event was graced by visionary guest speakers:
Dr. Murthy Remilla – Senior Scientist, ISRO Bangalore, who enlightened the audience with insights on space-enabled healthcare support.
Mr. S.N. Farid – TSI, Guwahati, who shared real-world success stories from Northeast India.
The event was also graced by some eminent dignitaries from GMCH, Guwahati, College of Paramedical & Medical Sciences (CPMS), Guwahati, The Assam Royal Global University, Betkuchi, Guwahati and also Sualkuchi FRU/PHC.
