World health day is celebrated ever year on 7th April under the leadership of world health organization (WHO) to create global health awareness. First celebrated in the year 1950, this day also marks establishment of WHO .The celebration focuses on increasing the life expectancy of people by promoting healthier living habits.

The  faculty and students of NEPNI School of Nursing  also celebrated this day by organising a  short presentation on world health day by the students of 3 rd year GNM (New) where the presentation highlighted on the importance of world health day and its significance.
