World leprosy eradication day is observed  Internationally on the 30th of January .

This day was chosen in commemoration of the death of Mahatma Gandhi, the leader of India who understood the importance of leprosy. Leprosy is one of the oldest recorded disease in the world .It is an infectious chronic disease that targets the nervous system, especially the nerves in the cooler parts of the body  - the hands, feet, and face.

We the  faculty and students of NEPNI School of Nursing also observed this day by presentation on leprosy with the help of charts and speech by 2nd year GNM Students.

The charts were prepared by-

Rujina Ahmed, Rashida Begum, Nureza khatun , yapa Bulo , Tamzida Khatun (GNM 2nd year)

 Presentation  were done by-

 Hasina Khatun and Sultana Rezia.(GNM 2nd year)
