Every Year ,on 31^st May, WHO and partners mark World No Tobacco Day, highlighting the health and other risks associated with tobacco use, and advocating for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption. The focus of world No Tobacco Day 2018 is “Tobacco and heart disease”

We the faculty and students of NEPNI school of Nursing celebrated World No Tobacco Day on 31^st May 2018 where Mrs. Khursida Begum, Trustee member, Principal  of ANM  and the faculty were present during the  programme.

First of all, the programme started of with a rally organized by NEPNI School Of Nursing. The rally was organized to raise awareness on harmful effects of tobacco consumption among the general population. The rally started from NEPNI School of Nursing till Sijubari Chariali. Along with the rally, a DRAMA  was being organized in the NEPNI premises , showcasing the  risks associated with tobacco consumption and promotion of healthy habits among the population by the students of 3^rd year GNM students.  The programme ended with an informative speech by  Mrs. Khursida Begum, Trustee Member ,NEPNI School of Nursing.

All the staff member and students actively participated in the programme.
